Cotton is not one fabric at Indidha, it's a family of weaves, each pulling in a different direction. Mul is spun for sheerness, slub is spun for texture, and pure cotton is woven for structure and everyday durability. All three come from the same handloom tradition, but they behave completely differently on the body, which is why picking "a cotton saree" really means picking which weave fits your day.

Every cotton saree in this collection comes from one of our weaver partners rather than a mill line, and the base length across the range is 5.5 meters. Blouse inclusion varies by product and by weave, some pieces come with a running blouse fabric and some don't, so always check the individual listing before you buy.

If sheerness and lightness matter most to you, start with mul cotton, our finest and most breathable weave. If you want more texture and a fabric with visible character in the weave itself, slub cotton is the better fit. Across every cotton weave, the same basic care applies: hand wash in cold water, skip the wringing, and dry in shade rather than direct sun. Iron on the reverse side. Finer weaves like mul need a gentler hand than sturdier ones, so when in doubt, treat the fabric the way you'd treat the most delicate piece in your wardrobe.
